On the Record

MV & EE, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Clem Snide

MV & EE With the Golden Road
Drone Trailer (DiCristina)

Whoa. Weird release. Like many different bands crammed into a six-song slab, MV & EE go from distorted squawk rawk to Neil Young at his most somber, Velvet Underground artsy to Vivian Girls/early K Records happy-incompetence seamlessly.

Rumpelstiltskin Grinder
Living for Death, Destroying The Rest (Relapse)

The end of the world finally gets its soundtrack. Loud as hell and fast as fuck, Living for Death will knock you on your ass and leave you begging for mercy. Only no one can hear you over the pummeling mash of guitar!

Clem Snide
Hungry Bird (429)

Eef Barzelay and the boys are back with their perfectly pleasant alt.country drone. Not many acts can boast being this literate or consistent for so long. Hungry Bird will please hardcore fans and the uninitiated alike.
